Lithuanian graphic collection reflects the pluralism of ideas and depicts a wide range of modernistic trends, prevailing in Contemporary Lithuanian Art. Intercepting traditions that have been shaped during the ages, reflecting the Lithuanian traditional world-view and enriching it with their own experiences, Lithuanian artists are creating a metaphorical visual world, symbolic and rich in content. The collection of graphic works is not only characterised by stylistic but also by technical diversity. Lithuanian graphic artists are skilfully using a wide range of classical techniques – etching, lithography, linocut, silkscreen, digital printing - and with their help are creating unique artistic images.

The exhibition exchange project CROSS – ROADS / KRYŽKELĖS provides an opportunity to present the latest works by Lithuanian artists in the context of foreign arts. This is a great and exciting opportunity to search for parallels in creative processes and to speak about the unique culture of every country. The organizers sincerely hope that Greek public will enjoy the exhibition, finding it unusual and interesting. It will acquaint the Greek public with Lithuanian contemporary graphic art and will contribute in the consolidation of our countries in creating the international cultural dialogue.
