The Embassy of Lithuania in Greece and KEDISA Held a Seminar on the Challenges of EU Enlargement

On March 28, the Embassy of Lithuania in Greece, together with the Center for International Strategic Analyses (KEDISA), successfully held a virtual seminar titled “The Challenges of EU Enlargement in Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.”

Speakers Aistė Bertulytė-Žikevičienė, Counsellor at the EU Department of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Nikolaos Tzifakis, Professor of International Relations at the University of the Peloponnese, discussed the future of EU enlargement and its geopolitical significance for the Eastern Partnership and Western Balkans regions. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Andreas G. Banoutsos, Founder and President of KEDISA.

"In these turbulent times, unity, solidarity, and a shared vision for the future are more important than ever. EU enlargement is not only a strategic necessity but also a moral responsibility," emphasized Lithuania's Ambassador to Greece, Lina Skerstonaitė, in her opening remarks.
