We invite you to participate in the competition for the position of a driver.

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in the Hellenic Republic announces a selection process to fill the position of a driver

Salary starting from 795 EUR.

Requirements:

1. Secondary education and/or acquired vocational education.
2. A driver's license allowing the operation of the embassy's vehicles.
3. Skills in vehicle operation, knowledge of vehicle functioning principles and structure.
4. Knowledge of laws and other legal acts regulating traffic safety, vehicle work safety rules, and procedures for providing first aid to victims.
5. Proficiency in English and Greek ( C1 level).

6. Knowledge of the rules for the use of official passenger cars of the embassy and the ministry.

7. Ability to identify and appropriately select local and long-distance routes, independently plan and carry out work.
8. Personal reliability.

Functions:

1. Driving service vehicles.
2. Transporting embassy's staff, delegations, and guests to and from work meetings and events.
3. Maintaining the technical condition, interior and exterior cleanliness of service vehicles.

4. Taking care of the technical service of vehicles, organizing their repair if nescessary.

5. Managing insurance matters for service vehicles.
6. Timely and responsibly completing documents related to vehicles and driving, keeping records of fuel and other consumables, as well as mileage.
7. Delivering mail, invitations and documents to various institutions and organizations and vice versa.
8. Loading and unloading vehicles, when necessary, transporting cargo to and from the embassy.
9. Assisting in organizing embassy's events and receptions.
10. Performing written translations.
11. Regularly collecting and disposing waste in designated areas.
12. Organizing public procurements of goods, services, and works, and providing reports.
13. Carrying out minor repair work.
14. Performing other non-permanent official assignments from the embassy's leadership.

Advantages:

1. At least 1 year experience in a driver's position.
   
2. Ability to perform official tasks not only in Greece but also in Lithuania and accredited countries.

A fixed-term employment contract will be concluded with the employee.
